レイアウト
間口およそ2間半の游月庵は、いわゆる「ウナギの寝床」の様に奥に長く続く構造になっています。
玄関から直線的に伸びる廊下の先に台所、脱衣所、浴室があり、廊下に沿って３部屋がレイアウトされています。
３つの空間それぞれが個性を持ちながら無垢材の床板と柱、壁の色により調和し、古民家ならではの味わいを保ちながら新しさと手前から奥に向かって広がってゆく空間を演出しています。
2階はベッドルーム専用の空間となっており、東側の吹き抜けに向けて障子窓を開けることで、朝日を採光するだけでなく東西に抜ける心地よい風を通し、そこから見渡すリビングの情景も楽しんでいただけるようになっています。
With a width of approximately 15.5ft, Yugetsuan has a long structure that continues to the back, like an "eel's bed."
At the end of a corridor that extends in a straight line from the entrance are the kitchen, dressing room, and bathroom, with three rooms laid out along the corridor.Each of the three spaces has its own unique character, but they are harmoniously matched by the solid wood floorboards, pillars, and wall colors, producing a new feel and a space that expands from front to back while retaining the charm of an old Japanese house.
The second floor is a dedicated bedroom space, and by opening the shoji window facing the east-facing atrium, not only will the morning sun let in but a pleasant east-west breeze will pass through, allowing guests to enjoy the view of the living room from there.
インテリア
家具・照明は、地域とのつながりを意識してデザインしています。明治村ゆかりのフランク・ロイド・ライト設計の照明や美濃和紙のランプシェード、カリモクのテーブルやチェア、犬山城ゆかりの長篠合戦図屏風。
それらに加えて和洋食器類の他、昭和の壁掛け時計や遊び心溢れる模型のディスプレイなど、館内全体を通して懐かしさと遊び心とともに落ち着きを感じていただける空間を演出しています。
The furniture and lighting have been designed with an awareness of the connection to the local community. The lighting is designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, who has ties to Museum Meiji-Mura, and features lampshades made from Mino washi paper, tables and chairs by Karimoku, and a folding screen depicting the Battle of Nagashino, which is associated with Inuyama Castle.In addition to these, the building also features Japanese and Western tableware, Showa-era wall clocks, and playful model displays, creating a space that evokes a sense of nostalgia, playfulness, and calm.
坪庭
およそ５．５坪の細長い庭も游月庵でくつろいでいただくための大切なの個性です。
３つの部屋からの眺めだけでなく、キッチンや脱衣所、バスルームからも・・・
季節ごとに昼夜それぞれ様々な表情を見せる庭の風情をお楽しみください。
月の夜にはモミジ越しに黒塀の向こうから月が昇り、游月庵と命名した由来にもなっています。
